Autumn, the letting go, the slowing down

Endings

Taking a few moments for a sacred pause.

One of my favourite books, Sacred Seasons, by Kirsty Gallagher invites us in, month by month to take our lead from nature.

We are now in mid-autumn. The leaves here in the UK are dying off and the final release will happen over the coming weeks.

The trees around us give such a colourful demonstration and reminder to let go, to leave behind what no longer serves us as we head into winter.

Which project needs to end?

Where might you have busied yourself up either physically or mentally to the point where overwhelm might be creeping in as the season is trying to slow us down?

What might you need to let go of so that something new can begin?

Preparation begins now for winter.

The letting go, the slowing down.

If there were just one thing to let go of, what might it be?

What are you finally ready to say goodbye to?

Taking just a few minutes to be intentional.

We are headed into the darker months here and there might not be room for everything.
